Thus Have I Heard

A Book of Spiritual and Occult Gleanings from the Teachings of the Great

by

Geoffrey Hodson

Like many of Geoffrey Hodson’s books, Thus Have I Heard was designed to guide and inspire readers to unfold their innate spiritual potential. Yet what sets this book apart from others is that it was developed from a series of talks that were intended to prepare spiritual seekers for the coming World Teacher through J. Krishnamurti (1895-1986).

First published in 1929 by the Theosophical Publishing House (Adyar), Thus Have I Heard was last reprinted in 1948.

About the Author

Geoffrey Hodson (1886-1983) was a gifted clairvoyant who utilized his psychic powers to identifying and understanding the often subtle dynamics of human health and disease. His clairvoyant abilities were also applied to examining the process of death and dying, psychological and spiritual counseling, yoga, mystical Christianity, the angelic kingdom, and investigating diverse scientific subjects, including archaeology, chemistry and physics.

In addition to having authored at least forty-six books and thirty-seven booklets, Mr. Hodson wrote hundreds of published articles, making him the most prolific theosophical writer of the twentieth century.

Although he often referred to himself as simply a “student of Theosophy,” the late Dr. Robert Ellwood, Professor Emeritus of Religion at California State University, described Geoffrey Hodson as worthy of compare with the greatest seers and mystics of any land or time.”
